Financial Times relaunches mobile site

The Financial Times has relaunched its mobile site. With an effective and navigable mobile version now an essential for any big web site, the FT is upping its game.
The new site will contain more specified content, promoting 'quality over quantity' according to FT.com managing director Rob Grimshaw. FT.com is also tailoring its mobile site towards the younger demographic that it has discovered are more regular users of the mobile platform.
L'Equipe and journalism portal Citizenside have just launched their own mobile versions, and it now seems to be taken as standard that iPhone and Blackberry compatible mobile sites are absolute must-haves for the big players in the online news industry.
