Hearst taps Pluck for social media developments
Posted by Jean Yves Chainon on February 21, 2008 at 10:36 AM
Hearst Digital has appointed Pluck to power its social networking and community developments. Pluck’s SiteLife tool enables newspapers and traditional media publishers to display users’ content on their website (see interview with General Manager Eric Newman here).
The platform will enable blogs, photos, videos, comments and recommendations posted by users to appear across sites including cosmopolitan.co.uk and handbag.com.
“The integration of the platform across the many facets of social media can help us ensure the experience for our visitors is one of the best available on the web,” said Hearst Digital MD Alex Ballantyne.
