NY Times publishes Sunday piece Web first

The New York Times has decided to publish Web first for a main piece that will not appear in print until Sunday. This comes at a time when many papers are deciding whether to publish Web editions first for Sunday papers or to stick with the tradition of print first on Sundays.
The piece was a profile of Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. The Times reportedly put up the piece after The Associated Press circulated this quote from the profile last night, which gained a lot of attention: "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?"
The decision to post this piece was a unique one for the Times, considering most major papers will not publish Web first for Sunday editions.
