Confetti by Crazy Egg to give newspaper websites more information about users and where they click

Posted by Ben Thalman on June 19, 2007 at 10:18 AM

Confetti by Crazy Egg allows website owners to track where their users are clicking. Spots that users have clicked on are represented by colored dots on the website and these different colors represent the different categories that clicks are sorted by, e.g., operating system, browser, window size, time before clicking, and what search brought the user to the page.

This technology will allow website owners to track the behavior of their users and sort these users by various criteria.

Clearly, this technology will be of particular value to newspaper companies who wish to know what their users are doing and how different users behave differently, e.g., which users are clicking through to advertisers websites?
