US: Monster and Boston Globe launch job site

Monster Worldwide Inc. has officially launched a co-branded career site with The Boston Globe and Boston.com. This is the first major launch since both companies partnered in February.

Monster had already launched co-branded websites with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, as well as two other Times Co. papers.

Monster and BostonWorks.com (Boston.com’s recruiting site) will merge their recruiting features. Monster will benefit from Boston.com’s 4-million unique monthly visitors, and be able to target local markets, and the Times will profit from increased web traffic.
