Fujitsu debuts color e-paper electronic book

Another step toward the paperless paper: Fujitsu is set to debut the FLEPia e-book, the first e-book with color e-ink capability. It will also have WiFi connectivity and the ability to store up to a year’s subscription to a digital daily newspaper.
The device will debut in October and will be available in A5 and A4 sizes. The amount of time taken to turn a page and the length of battery life will depend on the amount of color the user chooses to view. The price is still set at around $1,300, but if it comes down could help usher digital papers onto a new platform.
