US: NYT reports biggest revenue growth online

The New York Times saw a higher rate of revenue growth in May than in previous months in 2006, according to numbers the company released yesterday. Total company revenues rose four percent compared to May 2005 ,but the biggest numbers are Web based: online advertising revenues increased 26.9 percent since May 2005 and About.com ad revenues leaped 59 percent.
It just reinforces what analysts have been saying in recent months: the money is online.
