Inquiry into Scottish media job losses

Members of the Scottish Parliament have commissioned a report, expected to be issued in February or March, on the state of the Scottish media industry. This comes in the wake of a spate of redundancies announced at media organisations in late 2005. 32 newspaper jobs were lost at four Trinity Mirror owned Scottish publications (see previous posting).
