The UK's Guardian newspaper is set to increase its cover price by 10 pence sterling next week on both its Monday to Friday, and its Saturday editions. This will bring the paper's weekday price level with rival The Independent at 70 pence sterling and its Saturday price to 1.30 pounds sterling.
The Guardian will now be 5 pence more expensive than rivals The Times and The Daily Telegraph on weekdays.
