EU journalist award against discrimination

The European Union grants an award to honour journalists who "contribute to a better public understanding of the benefits of diversity and the fight against discrimination in employment". The "For Diversity. Against Discrimination." Journalist Award will be awarded in the two categories of print/online journalism and photo journalism.
The award invites journalists from the 25 EU Member States. Entries should be published in online or print any time between 1 January and 31 December 31 and focus on issues of "discrimination on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, age, disability and sexual orientation and promoting diversity in employment". The deadline for entries is 31 December 2005. For more details see Journalistaward.stop-discrimination.info.
