US: AP refuses to hand over Sarah Palin 's hacked e-mails

Information such as her e-mails, digital photos and Internet address book were posted online on Tuesday. Whistle-blower site Wikileaks "defended its decision" to keep information and screenshots by saying that the leaked data "proved" that Palin was in defiance of "rules on keeping public records by sending official emails through her private Yahoo account," writes the European Journalism Centre.
"This is a shocking invasion of the governor's privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them," said the McCain campaign.
