US: Tribune joining Florida TV station and newspaper

Tribune Co. is uniting the broadcast and interactive operations of WSFL-TV, its Miami television station, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, its Ft. Lauderdale-based newspaper, in hopes of cross-promotional content and more market coverage for advertisers.
Howard Greenberg, publisher of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and interim publisher of the Orlando Sentinel, will reportedly become general manager of WSFL. Allyson Meyers will become station manager of WSFL.
