Community involved in newspaper rethink

The San Jose Mercury News has announced a Rethinking the Mercury News program that lays out the problems of the newspapers and invites readers from the community to join the effort to improve the paper.
Involving the community is a great way to keep readers involved in traditional media. Newspapers should always be looking for the insight of their readers to make changes and improvements to keep papers fresh and connected to their audience.
