In Cairo, Egypt, on January 24 and 25 2007, the World Editors Forum will hold its very first Master Class specially designed for Arab editors in chief. The topic of the Master Class will be “How to successfully reshape Arab newspapers”.

Over the past year the World Editors Forum has given Master Classes in different parts of the world. Editors in Chief appreciated these in-depth updates about the latest trends in the newspaper industry, and were able to quickly implement their newfound knowledge in their respective newsrooms.

Outstanding speakers have been selected for this event:
- Abdelmounaïm Dilami, Publisher, Al Sabah, Morocco
- Craig Duff, Consultant Editor, The New York Times, USA
- Bachi Karkaria, Consultant Editor, The Times of India, India (to be confirmed)

Simultaneous translation will be provided in Arabic and English.

The Master Class is reserved to a limited number of Editors in Chief and Managing Editors. A few places are still available.
