Carlo d’Asaro Biondo, former president of AOL Europe, has been appointed as the international managing director at Lagardère.
Didier Quillot, chief executive of Lagardère Active Media (LAM), describes Biondo and LAM’s long-term digital strategy: “he is a high-level international executive, who has held important responsibilities in the media,” thus Biondo will be “well prepared to guide LAM's intended strategic evolution towards digital.”
Lagardère is a leading French media and technology company, and its operations extend to more than 40 countries. Hachette Filipacchi, its main magazine publishing branch, distributes 260 titles in 41 countries.
