New York Times once again ordered to divulge sources

With echoes of the Judith Miller case of 2005, a federal magistrate judge has demanded the release of New York Times' columnist Nick Kristof's sources from his reporting on the anthrax mailing scare of 2001. The Grey Lady has announced that it will appeal the decision.
One of the doctors cited in Kristof's reports claims he was defamed because he feels the columns lean towards blaming him for the attacks which killed five.
Two of Kristof's five sources have agreed to waive their original requests for anonymity leaving the number of confidential sources the court seeks at three.
