Pulitzer Prize to increase honors for Web-based journalism

The next chairman of the Pulitzer Prize Board, outgoing Wall Street Journal managing editor Paul Steiger, has called for more recognition of Internet journalism. If his requests are granted, it would be the next big step in a process the prestigious award began last year. Said Steiger, "So much exciting stuff is being done online, and by essentially print newsrooms, that have made it a bigger and bigger adjunct of the newsroom," citing the contributions of online journalism to Hurricane Katrina coverage.

I think the C stands for content,as in the content generation.
