Guardian wins "Best Online Newspaper" 2 years running
Guardian Unlimited, the British daily the Guardian's website, was voted as the best newspaper website by over 300,000 people from around the world who cast their choice for this year's Webby Awards. This is the Guardian's 2nd consecutive win in this category. The Washington Post's online publication grabbed the "People's Voice" award in the same category. Many major media brands in 69 categories won the top spot in their respective fields, provoking Market Watch's Frank Barnako to question the influence of the "rising voice of the little guy" on the Internet.
