Holland: new print newspaper for blogsphere

The makers of Dutch webpage startlog.nl, a page with links to hundreds of weblogs, are set to launch a new print newspaper next month which will carry a selection of stories from Dutch weblogs.
All weblogs now present on the startlog page have been approached to become involved in the new initiative and with the exception of one, all have responded positively.
The weekly will have a print run of 30 000 and citizen journalists whose material appears in the paper will be financially compensated.
