Le Monde gets a new editor-in-chief

As said in a previous posting, Gérard Courtois is the new editor-in-chief of Le Monde. He replaces Edwy Plenel who stepped down two weeks ago. Courtois is considered to be very close to Jean-Marie Colombani, the publisher. Another sign is given with the nomination of Eric Fottorino as editor in charge of the new formula of Le Monde (to be set up in September 2005). Fottorino is also considered to be close from Colombani.
