The longest-serving prisoner is Syrian

Farhan el-Zoghbi has been in jail since 1970! And it happens in Syria... His wife, Sabah el-Turkmani, told Elaph magazine (in Arabic) that she hoped he would be liberated in the coming months by Syrian president Bachir El Assad. But who knows -- it is possible that there is an even longer-serving prisoning in China!
