MediaGuardian reports on the latest ABC figures for UK Sunday papers, with The Mail's Sunday edition showing circulation increase.

Daily Mail & General Trust's Sunday tabloid reported a circulation rise of 5.14% in October, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations; a 3.43% year-on-year decline, but the Sunday Mail was the only paper in its market sector to report an increase in circulation.

The Daily Star Sunday was the only title in the sector with a year-on-year circulation rise, with sales up 2.95%. However the title's circulation fell 5.18% compared with September.

Meanwhile the Sunday Express reported that its circulation dropped 0.81% month on month, an 8.27% fall compared with October last year.

The News of the World reported that circulation fell 2.36% year on year, and Trinity Mirror's Sunday Mirror was down 6.36% since October 2008.
