Editor & Publisher has been tracking newspapers' editorial endorsements for the US presidential candidates. So far the Obama ticket leads with 28 endorsements and McCain is trailing with 11.
According to E&P, Obama picked up 15 newspaper endorsements on Sunday to McCain's two.
Also important to highlight is the fact that Obama has so far won the
endorsements of five papers that endorsed the GOP candidate in 2004.
Meanwhile McCain has not earned any flip-flops, according to E&P.
Looking at combined daily circulation of newspaper endorsements, McCain's daily circulation figure trails at 1,349,721 readers to Obama's 2, 758,429 daily readers.
