Russia: weekly regional paper Rodnoi Gorod launches Volgograd edition

Nearly 90% of the articles are focused on local events. Furthermore,
almost 70% of the editorial content is there according to readers'
decisions.
The first issue was released on October 1 with a circulation of 120,000 copies and was distributed for free. 30,000 copies of the second issue will be sold for RUB 8 (€0.22).
Previously, Novosti Regionov launched a Rodnoi Gorod initiative in two other regions in the country. The Ryazan edition has been published since March and has a weekly circulation of 31,000. Meanwhile, The Yaroslavl edition has been published since August and has a circulation of 23,000.
