India: Youth tabloid Yuva to be relaunched as lifestyle magazine

Yuva, a youth tabloid that was originally launched in August 2007, will be relaunched as a lifestyle magazine in November.
A survey conducted by Yuva found that magazines, radio and the Internet were the top media preferences; newspapers fell far behind. This led to the decision to switch to a magazine format in order to attract more readers. According to Yuva, advertisers also prefer the magazine format.

The magazine will be 80-pages in length; 70% of it will be devoted to
editorial content and the rest to advertising. It will be split into
sections, including current affairs, lifestyle, entertainment, and
investigative and research based stories, according to afaqs!
It is still undecided as to whether it will become a monthly or remain a biweekly publication.
