Hungary: Metro changes its name to Metropol

After a court case between Metro Hungary and Metro Cash & Carry AG, the court has decided that free daily Metro Hungary will have to change its name to Metropol.

The Hungarian newspaper is still a monopoly in the country, which is not common in Europe. Busz, a competitor launched last year soon had to go weekly and Budapest 7 Nap - another free weekly launched a year ago - just closed last week.
