China: Olympics Main Press Center opens in Beijing

The largest media center in Olympics history was formally opened yesterday in Beijing.
The Main Press Center (MPC), accessible to media with official accreditation, holds 971 workstations, a majority of which are "equipped with electrical and network interface features to provide media crews with optimal communication capabilities."
The MPC also boasts a bank, post office and pharmacy, among other amenities.
