US: Tampa Tribune and Miami Herald outsource production

According to www.newsandtech.com, the Tampa Tribune (Florida) is outsourcing parts of ad production to Express KCS LLC, which has a production facility in Gurgaon, India, and currently offers outsourcing to other US Newspapers.
The Miami Herald is reducing its full-time jobs by 17 percent, takng out 250 people voluntarily or involuntarily. Like the Tribune, it will outsource some jobs to India, namely the calendar, archiving and the International Edition.
