McClatchy Co. hit a new 52 week low for its stock prices on March 10. Incidentally, last week they announced that they would outsource the ad production of two more of their papers, The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, CA and the Herald-Leader in Lexington, KY following several other newspaper publishers. The Tribune plans on eliminating employees in their prepress department as well as using Express KCS for production. The Herald-Leader is closing most of its design and production, turning the work to Affinity Express Inc.
