US: Journal Sentinel joins Yahoo advertising group

On Monday, Journal Sentinel Inc, publisher of Milwaukee's daily newspaper, announced that it had joined the advertising consortium of Yahoo Inc. and a group of major U.S. newspaper companies.
Milwaukee-based Journal Communications Inc, owns Journal Sentinel Inc., which publishes the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and produces the newspaper's website, JSOnline.com, as well as JobNoggin.com and PackerInsider.com.
The newspaper consortium now has 27 newspaper publishing companies representing more than 635 newspapers across 43 of the top 50 markets in the country.
