US: Editor and Publisher analyzes American newspaper circulation

According to an Editor and Publisher analysis of data from the Audit Bureau of Circulation, circulation at American newspapers has dropped markedly in the past four years.

Among the E & P findings:
-newspapers have lost about 10% overall circulation
-certain newspapers gained circulation (USA Today and The New York Post)
-the San Francisco Chronicle took the hardest hit with a 30% drop
