Thailand: Bangkok Post redesigns with readers in mind

Posted by Kelley Vendeland on March 3, 2008 at 2:42 PM
Bangkokpost.gifThe Bangkok Post has revamped its design to become more reader-friendly. The paper has incorporated more visual effects to draw attention to top stories, and has changed the front page to make it easier to navigate to the jump stories.

Moreover, The Post now gives links to the online version, which is one of the most read websites in Thailand, according to Publicitas.

"Over the years The Bangkok Post's circulation has kept rising against the general trend of most of the world's major newspapers, which are facing declines in circulation. This has enabled [us] to maintain the leadership in the English-language newspaper market in Thailand," said the newspaper's editor.
