US: Tribune Interactive appoints new president

Chicago Tribune Co. new owner Sam Zell has replaced Tribune Interactive President Tim Landon with Mark Sortir, the current managing director of Zell’s Equity Group Investments. The appointment is on an interim basis.
Sortir handled the due diligence on Tribune Co.’s interactive division during Zell’s preparations to take the company private last year.
