US: ABC shows continued losses in circulation

The Audit Bureau of Circulation has released circulation numbers for more than 700 daily newspapers in the U.S. Only four of the top 25 newspapers in daily circulation showed gains.

The USA Today and The Los Angeles Times were among the only four that showed gains. The New York Times daily circulation was down 4.51% to 1,037,828 copies. The Wall Street Journal showed losses of 1.53% to 2,011,882 daily.

The ABC concluded from their results that “circulation -- at least paid circulation -- continues to decline sharply.”
