UK: Local business paper mock-ups released

Businessmen in Manchester will soon have their own regional publication focusing on regional business news. Publisher Crain Communications has published a 24-page dummy issue to lure advertisers and give potential readers a taste of what's to come.
Crain's Manchester Business is believed to be the first regional business-specific paper in Western Europe, according to Hold the Front Page. 20,000 copies will be printed on glossy paper and distributed in a mixed paid-for/controlled circulation scheme already made popular in Manchester by the Manchester Evening News.
The weekly will be accompanied by a website and will first be distributed on December 17 with regular publication beginning in January 2008.
