Posted by Jean Yves Chainon on October 26, 2007 at 9:51 AM
Dutch free paper DAG will be available for home delivery starting on Nov. 5. Customers will only be charged delivery costs.
The paper will still be free at current pickup locations.
DAG is published by telecom provider KPN and publisher PCM, which publishes the Volkskrant. DAG subscribers will be able to sign up for a dual subscription of DAG on week days and Volkskrant on Saturdays.
Home-delivered freesheet models are being tried out in several countries, including Denmark, Switzerland. The success of the models is yet to be proven.
