Tamedia and Editpress to collaborate on new daily in Luxembourg

Tamedia EG and Editpress have announced a plan to jointly launch a new daily in Luxembourg by the end of 2007.
With the new daily, named L’Essential, the two groups hope to target young, urban readers with high spending power.
Tamedia and Editpress both have 50% interest in the newly formed publishing company, Edita SA, which will be headed by Emmanuel Fleig. In addition, a five-person Council will oversee the new daily.
