Sunday Telegraph’s redesign

Next weekend the Sunday Telegraph will launch its new look. Among the changes is a hand-drawn masthead which retains the paper’s traditional gothic look.

Editor Patience Wheatcroft said of the redesign: “It's a redesign of the look of the newspaper, not of the content,” indicating that only the typeface and layout will change.

Mrs. Wheatcroft adds: "The new typography and layout will freshen up the newspaper, making it a little bit lighter and a little bit younger."
