US: Dallas Morning News cuts circulation
Posted by Allie Judson on December 7, 2006 at 1:18 PM
Based on dropping circulation and the need to reduce costs, the Dallas Morning News is cutting its distribution to its unprofitable areas. The paper cut most distribution beyond a 200-mile radius in April and plans to cut down to a 100-mile radius in the beginning of 2007. Circulation cuts to the News and three other daily newspapers will save parent company Belo $8 million annually.
