UK: Prospective buyers bid for the Daily Mirror

Interested buyers in the Daily Mirror, including entrepreneur Marcus Evans, have been contacting the banking advisor of the Trinity Mirror, NM Rothschild, to put in their bid. Though they are receiving bids, the Trinity Mirror is not completely sure they are going to sell, "We are currently conducting our review. We have not reached any conclusions," a Trinity Mirror spokesman said.

Evans bid was £200 million than his proposed price two years ago, however as of right now the company isn’t “ruling anyone out.” A report from The Times stated that Evens was hoping to help the paper not “tear it apart.”
