India: English-language daily to launch in Delhi

The Indian media group Today announced they were planning on publishing an English daily in Delhi city by early 2007. Today’s head, Aaron Purie, declined to give further detail on the project, but mentioned the paper would focus on “editorial quality.” This test-launch in Delhi’s region could lead to an expansion if the reactions are positive.
