Denmark: MetroXpress closes afternoon freesheet

Metro International has announced that they will be closing down the afternoon edition of metroXpress in Copenhagen. The freesheet, which was launched as a test run earlier this year, was doing well but did not hit the financial targets the company had hoped for. This is the first casualty of Denmark’s home delivered freesheet wars. The morning edition of metroXpress is continuing to do very well and will stay in distribution.
