US: Mr. Murdoch goes to Washington

At the same time that Rupert Murdoch's Times of London is taking up a double-residency in New York, his News International paper the New York Post is heading down the East Coast to the nation's capital.

The Washington Post reports that the NYC tabloid used Baltimore Sun presses to begin printing a "small number of copies" over the summer.

Writes Frank Ahrens at WaPo, "Should we be frightened? Does Murdoch have his eye on the capital of the free world? Another step in his insidious plan for world domination? 'Sorry,' the spokeswoman said, 'we won't reveal our strategic plan.'
