Israel: Yedioth Ahronoth to launch free paper

Yedioth Ahronoth has announced plans to launch a free newspaper to compete with Israel's only other freesheet, the Israeli.  To prepare the public, Yedioth Ahronoth has sold copies of its daily for NIS 1 outside train stations.  Yedioth was named a newspaper monopoly in 1995.
