Denmark: Fifth free daily launched

Nyhedsavisen (The News Daily) became the fifth free paper to compete in Denmark on Friday. The paper was distributed at traffic points and delivered to homes in Denmark’s three largest cities: Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense. Although the planned circulation was 500,000, only half that number was printed due to technical problems. 365 Media’s Nyhedsavisen joins Danish freesheets dato, 24timer, metroXpress, and Urban.
