Singapore: New freesheet involves readers
Posted by Maddie Hanna on June 6, 2006 at 10:59 AM
Last week in Singapore, a publication was launched that embraces multiple trends: it’s a compact freesheet that encourages citizen journalism and focuses on younger readers.
Readers are invited to contribute articles, accompany reporters on interviews and share their opinions on stories found in My Paper, the first Chinese freesheet in Singapore. The public has already been able to contribute to the publication, as both readers and advertisers voted on the masthead design.
My Paper targets bilingual readers ages 20-40 exposed to both Western and Chinese cultures.
