US: Sacramento Bee redesigns website

Sacbee.com, the web site of The Sacramento Bee, has launched a revamped site that features customizable news content, sleek navigation and enhanced search capabilities.
Other notable new features include (from CyberJournalist):
- Rotating, themed content areas –Topics rotate so users can quickly and easily see all the news on the top portion of the home page.

Customizable options – Users can choose what types of news they want to see – world, state, local, politics, sports, business, entertainment, opinion, community news, etc. – and control the rotation speeds.
- Improved navigation and search capabilities – The site has streamlined the options available on the home page, improved the drop-down menus to help users quickly find favorite sections, and enhanced the search capabilities.
- More photos – The Bee's award-winning photography is shown larger and with more frequency throughout the site.
- Unique online features – Features and items unique to sacbee.com are featured at the bottom of the page, including columnists, photo galleries, podcasts and more.
