Reuters and International Herald Tribune sign content deal
Starting January 7, the business section an online site of the International Herald Tribune the will be reframed to carry content written and edited by Reuters staff.
The deal replaces a formed agreement that the Herald Tribune had with the private society Bloomberg LP.
The project will include news, analysis and comment from business writers from both companies plus the New York Times.
Reuters has agreed to a takeover by publisher Thomson Corp. The deal is now being probed by European and U.S. regulators and is expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2008.
