Posted by Lauren Drablier on December 1, 2008 at 1:26 PM
TheStarPhoenix.com has launched a new website. The new site offers more content including breaking news, feature, entertainment, sports, photos and commentary.
In addition, the pages will be in an extra wide format, "allowing viewers to scan much more of the page without scrolling," according to the paper's website.
The site will also feature "larger text, stronger art and more creative use of white space." It will also allow users to print, email, bookmark or share stories on any social networking site.
The StarPhoenix has also added a Diversions page which features online games and puzzles.
The redesign was part of a seven-month redesign initiative that included the relaunch of 10 other Canwest newspaper websites.
