UK: Guardian to update mobile coverage

Guardian News & Media is expanding its mobile market. News alerts are currently offered through a version of Guardian.co.uk for PDA, Smartphone and BlackBerry devices, and via text message.
GNM has hired Andrew Bagguley, former head of mobile strategy for News International, as a consultant for the process. Bagguley will be "working closely with Guardian in-house teams" to formulate the plan, a spokeswoman for GNM told Journalism.co.uk.
